All new and stylishly furnished, the Alpine Chalet Aurora Dolomites boasts a quiet and sunny location in the mountain village of Lajen in the dolomites. Situated right next to meadows, fields and walking paths, it is ideal for enjoying the beautiful natural landscape of the Eisack and Gröden valleys and the famous dolomites. Stepping outside the front door, your gaze sweeps over the wonderful natural and cultivated landscapes. In just a few steps you can reach the bus stop from where connections run throughout South Tyrol, while there is also a sports area and playground nearby – and the centre of Lajen, with its restaurants, bars and shops, is just some 300 metres away. The Alpine Chalet Aurora has its own open-air solarium and a large garden terrace, outdoor dining and barbecue facilities, sun loungers and play equipment for children.

The landlords, the Steger family, take great pleasure in ensuring the comfort of their guests, who can relax and enjoy themselves in the chalet as they find inner balance , all in natural surroundings. There are plenty of other activities around and about: the hosts are mountain enthusiasts and can provide a vast range of tips for excursions, hikes, cultural events and information on local history.
Note that from the Chalet you can join guided hikes free of charge, allowing you to experience nature and the mountains in the dolomites in close-up, while the free Mobilcard offers free use of public transport. And, in winter, there is a free ski bus to take guests up to the 1,200 km of slopes that make up the Dolomiti Superski ski carousel!
